THE WINE: This wine is a deep garnet colour. The nose displays luscious ripe blackberry aromas. These aromas lead to a fleshy palate showing plum and dark berry fruit flavours balanced with subtle spice. The soft tannins lead to a smooth, velvety finish.
FOOD MATCHES: Rare roast beef with parsnip puree, forest foraged mushroom soup or tuna mornay.
